Last Tuesday morning my cousin who was like a sister to me passed away, she had been diagnosed with liver cancer last October. She fought it like a true champion … But unfortunately it was very aggressive and she lost the battle.
But Minia was much more than just another cancer patient, she was funny, super smart, silly, a very strong woman and an advocate for animal protection and for the abollition of bullfighting in Mexico.
She will be sadly missed and the world will never be the same without her pranks, her jokes, her passion, her love for family and animals. I admire her for her courage through out her sickness, even when told she was terminal she had a sense of humor and had a strong desire to keep living.
I lost my sister to cancer … My life will never be the same, but I’m very fortunate because Minia was a big part of my life, and even though her time on Earth was short, she will leave a huge imprint and will never be forgotten
